Products for rabbits

Our vaccines for rabbits cover economically the most severe diseases occurring in rabbit breeding, which include especially Viral Haemorrhagic Disease of rabbits and Myxomatosis.

Pasteurellosis in rabbits also cause serious economic losses. It is a respiratory disease of rabbits caused mainly by bacterium Pasteurella multocida. It spreads by contact, droplet infection or mutual injury. The most common symptoms are respiratory problems, usually manifested by nasal discharge, snorting and inflammation of the conjuctiva. Bacteria also attack internal organs, especially lungs, uterus and middle ear. In some cases occur abscesses under the skin, which can be chronic and require further treatment. Further there can occur affection of CNS (nystagmus, torticollis) etc.

Serotype and antigenic diversity of the causative agent of the disease (Pasteurella multocida) emphasizes the advantages of autogenous vaccines made from bacterial pathogens captured in the given breeding.
